All About Mud

Mud Run Ride

Is put on by four guys, who get dirty, we call ourselves - Double Deuce Events. But what you need to know is we have lots of experience, putting on great events. Mud Run Ride is growing into your best event with a mud pit. And as we grow we will expand to more communities - to spread the mud.

Our Commitment

You will get dirty. You will probably have a very good time doing it.

Whether you are a participant, sponsor or volunteer, we strive to give each of you a positive experience.

Because when it comes down to it, isn't it all about being able to tell a good story.

This year we will see you in Campbell River and North Vancouver, but we are always looking for more sponsor and locations to spread the dirt.

Double Deuce Events

Tom Skinner

Permits, Business and Registration

Native to the north shore, Tom has organized a number of running, cross country and other events. His youthful exuberance is tireless and hardworking, expertise in timing and start/finish lines.

John Crosby

Volunteers and Promotions

Back in 2002 he volunteered at his first adventure race and was hooked. John has volunteered and worked on more races than he can count and has raced a variety of them. One of his favourite races was the ol' Mud'n'Bud." It was always fun and had a great running / biking community feel."

Clifton Cunningham

Challenges and Logistics

Not only does Clif bring size to the event but experience, he's been doing events across Canada for major road races. With runs from 100 to 15,000 as common place, but his niche is course design, logistics and saying no, so don't ask.

Thomas Howard

Course and Event Relations

Hi, I'm Thomas Howard. I'm a Virgo in my late 30’s with a great sense of humor. I love long walks on the beach and watching the sunset. Looking for a partner who's adventurous and who's not afraid to get dirty. If you're interested, meet me at Inter River Park on August 29th.
